Myth and poetic tradition in L. Panteleev’s works about the orphan
Abstract
Savina L.N., Batova O.S. (Volgograd State Social-Pedagogic University, Volgograd, Russian Federation)
The article discusses the realization of the traditions of a fairy tale in narratives and stories by L. Panteleev about orphans (narrative “The Hours,” the story “Night”, story “On the skiff”). Particular attention is given to an embodiment in the works of the writer of fairy compositional elements, motifs and images (absence, sending the character to a way, the division of space in the “own” and “foreign”, the presence of the difficulties, the presence of the category of the miraculous, the opposition of good and evil, happy ending, etc).
Along with the examples, proving Leonid Panteleev’s orientation on mythopoetic tradition, the article analyzes cases of violation of the archetypal folk tales circuit caused by author’s intention who writes about children and for children to deploy description and psychology.
Key words: children literature, myth and poetic tradition, fairy tale, archetype scheme.
