Bibleisms with the meaning of conditionality in the Midieval Russian megatext

The article on the material of Russian medieval megatexts, i.e. collectively written texts of XI-XVII centuries it is analyzed the specific characteristics of the era of a way of expressing the category of conditionality - bibleisms. The main types are: biblical quotes, «biblical keys» and biblical reminiscences - consistently described in terms of structure, semantics and functioning. Particular attention is given to the functions of biblical quotations, «the biblical keys» and biblical allusions, the implementation of which is associated with the expression of causal semantics and relationship base - conclusion in the range of values of conditionality, namely: assessment and characteristics of prospectively-predictive and explaining-ascertaining functions. An integrated approach revealed substantial differences between the types of bibleisms; determined the frequency of their use in the different genres of texts XI-XVII centuries; described the actual language features of each type: syntactic organization, localization in the text of the work, time of the prerogative use.
Problem questions related to the peculiarities of quoting the Bible are highlighted: what kind of biblical texts quoted and how precisely they were used. It is noted that bibleisms were used mainly in the translated and original monuments of the «upper tier» (a term by N.I. Tolstoy): canonical, liturgical, and hagiographic preaching. This sacred texts have multiple meanings and their inherent double realism, in which the definite historical, spiritual and symbolic point of view are closely interrelated and inseparable.
