Based on the analysis of journalistic and literary texts, the cognitive features of the subdomain “women's resentmentˮ are identified, as profiled in the Russian and Chinese national worldviews. Based on the structure of the frame “emotional stateˮ and the connection of the analyzed concept with the domain area “social genderˮ, similarities and differences in the conceptualization of ideas about female resentment are established. The differences identified are explained by the dependence of gender stereotypes on the cultural values and norms dominant in society.
Key words: woman, emotional state, women's resentment, gender stereotype, cognitive feature, conceptualization, subdomain, domain, national worldview
