MODULE-RATING BASE IN CONTROLLING THEORETICAL COURSE MASTERING
Abstract

The article presents a model of Theoretical grammar course as a part of the Theory of first foreign language bloc of disciplines offered at the Bachelor level. It is based on competence approach which provides monitoring of academic progress of the student; helps evaluate the quality of knowledge. The themes of the course are arranged according to the types of competences and activities to back them. Tools for evaluating are presented in the tables. The system of points introduced in the article helps facilitate the student’s academic progress and offers prospects for selfassessment and improvement.
