E-LITERATURE AS A FACT OF THE CONTEMPORARY LITERARY PROCESS
Abstract
Rosliy A.S.
Keywords: network literature, cultural phenomenon, breakthrough literature, Internet.
This article is an attempt to examine the phenomenon of network literature as a fact of the literary process. By giving terminological meaning to the concept «network literature», the author defines some typological features which allow specifying literary activity on the Internet as a unique cultural phenomenon. By the example of the collection of texts by the network authors «Blogopadt» which was published in a «traditional» form, the author contemplates the question of the interrelation of E-literature and «paper» one. Noting that at the beginning of development of Internet technologies critics and researchers predicted the appearance of breakthrough literature, the author comes to the conclusion that it didn’t happen. Contemporary writers consider the possibilities of the Internet only from publishing, but not from creative point of view.
