MARKERS OF A “FOREIGNER” IN THE ARTISTIC WORLD IMAGE
Abstract
Sirotkina T.A.
Keywords: world image, ethnonyms, stereotypes, the conceptual domain.
The article deals with ethnic markings of events by authors of literary texts. It is concluded that not only ethnic names, but their derivatives, in particular, formed from ethnonymic adjectives, are a means of verbalization of ethnicity category, which exists in the language world image. The writer who possesses all national stereotypes reflects in the artistic work certain features of the national world image and implements the opposition “native - foreign” through ethnically marked phenomena.
