THE BASIS OF COLLATION AND ITS CORRELATION TO COMPARISON

This article is devoted to the particular features of semantics and the use of terms collation and comparison, the peculiarity of their functioning in the scientific style. The syntactic designs of comparative constructions are analyzed in the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic aspects. The realization of comparative relations in the syntax of a sentence and a text is specifically studied. The cognitive conditions stimulating the process of collocation and comparison are singled out and analysed.
