COMMUNICATIVE TACTICS OF THE PERSUASIVE STRATIGY IN SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE OF ENGLISH MONOGRAPHS

This paper is devoted to communicative tactics of the persuasive strategy which are used in the sphere of scientific discourse on the whole and in such scientific genres as a monograph and an essay in particular. Persuasive elements are based on the principles of argumentation, the study of which began at the times of Aristotle. The author analyses most frequent persuasive tactics in the scientific sphere. They are “reference to the authority”, “generalization of supporters of the viewpoint” and others.
