Abstract
Nasyihova L. R.
Keywords: Great Patriotic war, the publicism ofwarperiod, military correspondent, patriotism, devotion to Motherland.
Military writers made literary history of the period of Great Patriotic war. Life and works of the military writers, especially publicists, were closely connected with Great Patriotic war. The main subject of the articles, essays, reports, notes, interviews is the attempt to show the heroism of people - Motherland defenders. Reminiscences of these people, which they express in their letters, are invaluable for history. In each of their work they show how the victory was forged, how many heroic efforts of the Soviet people were spent to achieve it. The duty of our generation, living at a peaceful time, is to keep our fathers’ and grandfathers’ courage, firmness and devotion to Motherland in our minds and hearts and to hand this story down to future generations.
