THE EFFECT OF COLLOQUIAL SPEECH AS A NEW TREND OF JOURNALISM AT THE END OF THE 20-TH CENTURY (ON THE BASE OF DOVLATOV'S COLUMNS IN “NOVYI AMERICANETS”)

The article deals with the effect of colloquial speech. The author supposed this effect was characteristic for journalistic materials at the end of the 20-th century. The author considers the creation of this effect by lexical, morphological, syntactic elements and rhetorical techniques and also analyses functional aspect of the effect of colloquial speech on the material of Dovlatov’s columns. In the author’s opinion the main goal of the effect of colloquial speech is actualized in attraction of the readers’ attention and winning the readers’ trust.
