The article is devoted to the use of the contrast method in psychology and psychotherapy. The author examines this method as a means of speech influence that is a reorganization method of the addressee’s implicit world picture. The article describes the main lines of semantic oppositions, passing through the majority of psychological and psychotherapeutic plotlines.
