This paper discusses interactive methods and teaching strategies which are demanded by new goals and tasks of higher education. The focus is on innovative methods of teaching History of Russian literature of the 20th century. The paper also highlights some selected problems which arise during practical use of these new interactive forms and methods of teaching in the classroom.
