THE OPPOSITIONAL SUBSTITUTION IN MORPHOLOGY AS THE RESEARCH OBJECT IN COMMUNICATIVE PARADIGMATIC LINGUISTICS
Abstract
The article analyses the terms typical of the theory of the oppositional substitution. This theory is developed in the school of communicative and paradigmatic linguistics and it contributes to the syntagmatic aspect of morphology. The author focuses on two types of substitution: neutralization and transposition as opposing to the syntagmatic contrast.
