SPECIFICITY OF OPTIONAL MODALITY OBJECTIVENESS IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
The article considers the main specificity of implementation of optional modality in the German language that is the lack of specialized morphological forms (verbal inclination) for the expression of the corresponding semantics. Based on the characteristics of specific situations (characteristic of the subject of desire, its nature, temporary attribution desired situation, the degree of intensity of desire, stylistic coloring, compatibility with other modal value), which is implemented by optional modality is determined by the conceptual component of the concept “optional” as well as the types of optional speech acts in German. The determining factor is the distinction of the real and the unreal desire. Depending on the nature of the object of desire delineated subtypes of real and unreal desires. In accordance with the desire to build a paradigm there is a target on optional sentences and established a set of tools implementing optional modality in German. In relation to the implementation of certain restrictions it is observed optional functional styles of speech.
