Peripheral Means of Expressing the Meaning of Animate – Inanimate

The study of the meaning of animate-inanimate cannot be limited to the consideration of isolated nouns, since the word always functions as part of a certain construction, as part of a certain context. The article deals with the manifestation of the meaning of animateness-inanimation in the semantics of pronouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs.
