The article is devoted to the work of Shapochkina E.A. "Alexandrovskaya Gymnasium in Taganrog". Outstanding people were not only among the graduates of gymnasium, but also among teachers. The article presents a lot of information about the daily life of the school and its pupils, what they ate, what uniform they had, what place in their life took library and theater, what subjects were studied.
