THE MOTIF STRUCTURE OF NARRATION IN M. SHISHKIN’S NOVELS

The article deals with a set of permanent motifs which connect separate plots evolving through different times and spaces. Due to motif reverberations autonomous narrative episodes are united and therefore basic concepts of M.Shishkin’s prose are accentuated (such as the themes of time, death and «resurrection by a word»). A motif structure of narration is analyzed through analytical reading of Shishkin’s novels «Vzyatie Izmaila», «Venerin volos», «Pismovnik».
