This article is dedicated to the XI International scientific and practical conference "Problems of comparative semantics." Almost all of the reports have been represented in the Ukrainian language. Such notions as paradigm, disciplinary matrix, scientific and disciplinary programs, as well as the issue of paradigms quantity in the history of linguistics were discussed.
