Ethos as a Source of Communicative Pressure Confrontation

Conflictogenic units generated by ethos transform the cooperative type of speech impact (argumentation, persuasion) into a confrontational one - communicative pressure. The formation of conflictogenic units of the ethos is due to the violation of the postulates of cooperation and maxims of politeness, which can function both independently and in various combinations. The nature of conflictogenic units reflects the peculiarities of the linguistic personality of the addressee and can serve as a basis for its identification.
