Abstract

Key words: speech economy strategy, text, discourse, pre-textual cognitive operations, presuppositions, presumptions, conditionally categorical syllogism.

The article is devoted to the problem of speech economy from the point of view of the cognitive approach to a language. In the cognitive aspect the speech economy strategy is realized by implicit pre-textual cognitive operations in text production - presuppositions and presumptions. In the article the realization peculiarities of speech economy strategy by means of the presumption of conditionally categorical syllogism are studied in Russian, English and German. The language projection features of the presumption of conditionally categorical syllogism are analyzed in the above mentioned languages.
