Abstract
Evgeniya A. Solovyova (Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation)
The article focuses on the analysis of Anglicisms (English inclusions) in the contemporary speech of French military personnel. The present casestudy is based on the non-fiction works written by the military veterans who served in the French expeditionary units in 2001 – 2012. We have typified the detected Anglicisms and also analyzed its main functions. Our study gives us grounds to consider Anglicisms as one of the characteristic features of the contemporary French military-specific speech.
Key words: Anglicisms, English inclusions, military-specific speech, expeditionary units.
