Concept Entschuldigung (Apology) in the German Linguoculture

Abstract

The linguocultural concept is a basic cultural unit. The linguocultural interpretation of the concept is the interpretation of concept structure analysis. Within the linguocultural interpretation the cognitive characteristics of the concept «Apology» were brought to light: «explanation of guilt», «forgiveness», «politeness formula», «satisfaction, satisfactory of settlement», «pretext, ploy», «exculpation», «solution», «deception, nonentity», «petition».
