Specifics of the National Mentality in the Teaching Methodology of Russian as a Foreign Language
Abstract

The article attempts to trace the differences in the national mentality of the American, European and Asian students, due to the peculiarities of their national educational systems, in particular in the aspects of the relationship between the teacher and the student, as well as cultural values and worldview in the context of their influence on the specifics of the study of foreign students of the Russian language. It also provides some practical suggestion concerning the teacher’s professional behavior as to the implementation of the certain methods and techniques depending on the national mentality and cultural peculiarities of the foreign students.
