THE SYSTEM OF PERIODICAL CONSTRUCTIONS IN A LITERARY TEXT: SEMANTICS, STRUCTURE, FUNCTIONS
Abstract
Trubkina A.I.
Keywords: the theory of the text, syntactical periodical constructions, modern literary texts, syntactic unit.
Among many various problems the theory of the text pays special attention to syntactical periodical constructions. The period is used in different types of modern literary texts, thus making the period a stable recurring trope. The place of periodical structures in a literary text, their semantics, structure and functions are defined in the article. The author makes an attempt of a comprehensive analysis of periodical structures as syntactical units.
