THE TEXTBOOK “THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE. CULTURE OF SPEECH. BUSINESS COMMUNICATION”: MODULE AND COMPETENCE APPROACH

The issues of application the module and competence approach to the compiling of a new type textbook on the Russian language, culture of speech and business communication are considered in the article. The special focus is laid on the development of such essential communicative competences as the skill of generating oral and written speech correctly, precisely and concisely, giving sound arguments in favour of the proposed statements as well as the knowledge and skills referring to written paper communication and the culture of professional socializing. The content of all the units of the textbook and the structure of modules, aimed at the development of the creative competences of students and the problem of building up definite competences, are discussed by the authors.
