This article is based on a monograph devoted to one of the little-known works of А.Platonov. This review contains information about almost everything that has been mentioned about the novel "The juvenile sea" for a quarter-century of its study. The review shows such aspects as the structure of the narrative manner of the author, linguistic problems of the novel, the main structure forming factors and originality of the author's style.
