This article describes the International scientific conference "Dostoevsky and World Culture", 10-13 November 2012. Researchers have been demonstrated in the sphere of aesthetic component of the author’s work. Participants of the conference had an extensive cultural program. The problem of preserving and strengthening the status of the memorial estate behind the Dostoevsky's farmstead was designated.
