Features of the Cohesion Category in Medical (Scientific) Discourse

The article deals with the functional and pragmatic features of the cohesion category in medical (scientific) discourse. The author analyzes existing research in Russian and foreign linguistics and describes the main characteristics of medical discourse. The means of cohesion in scientific works on medicine in English and French are explored in the article.
