ON THE SYNTACTIC PROBLEM OF GOMOGENEITY OF THE COMPONENTS CONNECTED BY COORDINATING CONJUNCTION
Abstract
Gavrilova G. F.
Keywords: homogeneity, semantics, conjunctions, semantic coordinating conjunctions.
The article deals with the question of the relation of homogeneity and coordination. This topic is ambiguously solved in the linguistic literature. The article shows the lack of homogeneity between coordinated components, on the other side reveals some similarity in their semantics. The author describes the role of coordinating conjunctions expressing homogeneity of the components. The article covers the question of the grammatical laws of similarity in patterns with conjunctions and specifiers which can form analytical units.
