LEGAL ASPECTS OF INTERNET ADVERTISING (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE REGULATIONS OF THE FEDERAL ANTIMONOPOLY SERVICE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION FOR THE PERIOD 2011-2013)
Abstract
Key words: improper advertising in Internet, Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia, the obsessive, aggressive advertising.
The rapid growth of the Internet advertising is expressed in the diversity of its forms and means and is conditioned by rapid development of information technologies and multimedia capabilities, as well as expansion and segmentation of the Internet audience. Theoretical basis for the definition of criteria for the classification and regulation of inappropriate advertising on the Internet is just being formed with the direct participation of the Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia. Systematization and classification of enforcement on inappropriate advertising in the Internet is the relevance and novelty of this article. You can select specific for Internet kinds of violations spamming; obtrusive advertising in form of pop-up-ads Windows; contextual advertising based on personal information of users; hidden advertising; use of Internet resources with uncertain legal status as a means of advertising.
