Abstract

Milkevich Ye.S.

Keywords: competence approach, competences, Common European Framework, the course of Stylistics, language competences.

The article is devoted to the problems connected with the structure and content of the university course of Stylistics. It should be restructured in accordance with the requirements of the Common European framework, concerning teaching a foreign language. General language competences have stylistically marked competences within each type of language activity: reading, writing, spoken interaction, spoken production and listening. Moreover, stylistic awareness is of paramount importance for prospect interpreters and translators, which is also reflected in stylistically relevant language competences.
